The Golden Trail World Series
The Mont Blanc Marathon,
legendary race in the Golden Trail World Series
Visit Golden Trail World Series exists to celebrate and develop trail running as a sport, promoting values such as parity, fairness, transparency and honesty. The GTWS races have thus been chosen to highlight the most emblematic events in trail running today.
It aims to promote professional trail runners as the world-class athletes they are, to showcase and protect the awe-inspiring natural environments where we play and compete, and to recognize the incredible and passionate fans as an essential ingredient of the sport. Each of the races in the series has been specifically selected for the scenery, challenge, history and atmosphere they offer both racers and spectators.
In 2024, the top 30 men and women in the overall ranking at the end of the 8th race will be invited to the Grand Final, the location of which has yet to be revealed.
