It aims to promote professional trail runners as the world-class athletes they are, to enhance and protect the inspiring natural environments where they run and compete, and to recognize the incredible and passionate fans as an essential ingredient of the sport. Each one of the races has been specifically selected for landscapes, challenge, history and atmosphere they offer to both racers and spectators.

In 2024, the top 30 men and women within the overall ranking at the end of the 8th race will be invited to the Grand Final. The location has not be revealed yet.
