Duo Étoilé start time changed to 8 p.m.

From 5pm, the Foehn wind gusts will reduce to 45 km/h.
A few showers with light storms between 5pm and 8pm.
Overnight, the sky will remain overcast at around 3000m with occasional light showers.
Temperatures in Chamonix, 15°, at Plan de l'Aiguille 12°.

After consulting with the prefecture office, the race jury has decided to maintain the Duo Étoilé race and to shift the start time to 8pm.

An analysis of the weather forecasts for the evening and night in the Chamonix valley seems favourable to the race, while respecting the safety of the participants and the members of the organisation.

However, in the case of a brutal change in the forecast, and in order to guarantee everyone's safety, the race could be cancelled at the last minute.
