Mont-Blanc Marathon
Mont-Blanc Marathon 2025
The Mont-Blanc Marathon is organized by the Club des Sports de Chamonix, a non-profit association under the French law of 1901. It comprises several running competitions, which take place around Chamonix in the Mont Blanc massif.
The Mont Blanc Marathon is back for another edition, from 26 to 29 June 2025 in Chamonix, with a rich and exciting programme.
As announced in the spring, the environmental impact analysis carried out by the Aircoop agency in 2023 revealed that 96% of the Mont Blanc Marathon's carbon footprint is linked to the transport of participants and their companions. This year, in order to reduce this figure, 40% of bib numbers will be attributed to participants coming by train, and carbon offsetting of participants' journeys (home/Chamonix) will be compulsory. For the Duo Etoilé, 23km, 42km and 90km races, registration for the prize draw will take place from Thursday 24 October 2024 at 9am until Tuesday 12 November 2024 at 12pm.
For the 10km, Kilomètre Vertical, Young Race Marathon and Mini-Cross events (races not subject to the draw), registration will open on Wednesday 20 November at 9.00am.
