To follow the Mont-Blanc 90km runners
After the 4 a.m. start in Chamonix, take the train to the hamlet of Le Buet to reach the second refreshment point on the route, where you can stay for a few minutes. You can then take the organization's shuttle bus to the Emosson refreshment point. Take this shuttle back to Vallorcine to watch the runners go by at the 4th refreshment point. From there, take the train to Montroc, then a line 2 bus to Le Tour, where the 5th refreshment point is located. Then take line 2 to Les Bois, the last accessible refreshment point. Finally, line 2 will take you back to Chamonix to watch the race finish.
To follow the 42km du Mont-Blanc runners
Go to the Place du Triangle de l'Amitié in Chamonix to watch the start of the 42km runners. Then board the organization shuttle or urban line 2, heading for the Tour's 1st refreshment point (12th km). Then take the organization shuttle back to Vallorcine for the 2nd refreshment point. Finally, head for Chamonix to watch the race finish.
To follow the 23km du Mont-Blanc runners
Go to the paragliding area in Chamonix for the start of the race. Then take the organization shuttle to the Montroc refreshment point (only accessible by public transport). Return to Chamonix to take the Planpraz gondola, which will take you directly to the race finish.
Shuttles for accompanying persons
To relieve congestion in the Chamonix valley and reduce the environmental impact of the event, we have set up a shuttle and train system dedicated to accompanying persons, in collaboration with our partner ATMB and SNCF. These shuttles enable you to follow your runner to the various points along the route without using your personal vehicle!
What's more, public transport from Servoz to Vallorcine is free on presentation of a guest card, which can be provided by your accommodation provider on request.
